MEET TAMARA
““Once you know the way out, you have a responsibility to show others the way.””
Tamara is a very intentional artist. She “fell” into artistry out of obedience to God and her own personal cry for help. As a highly imaginable child, with a knack for words, she always had a natural ability to create. However through trauma, and painful experiences, the enemy attempted to silence her. After divine instruction from God to “pursue healing, not success”, she began to seek healing through art. She soon found that she wasn’t solely pursuing her own healing. Tamara likens her poetry to a God-given ability to “speak another language” to people that may not otherwise hear the gospel. With a strong passion for youth ministry and the gift of counsel, she uses her platform and story to bring awareness to social issues as well as promote spiritual, mental, and emotional restoration through relationship with Jesus Christ. Her own journey to deliverance has taught Tamara the importance of “going back to get the others.” She firmly believes "once you know the way out, you have a responsibility to show others the way." Her humility rests in the fact that God would use her to give “voice” to “silent” cries, and in turn exemplify His love towards them.
